HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SELL MY CAR?

Once we reach an agreement on the value of your car based off our phone call, we will arrange an onsite inspection. If the condition of your car matches your description, we will pay you instantly. 

However, if the condition is not as you described, we will reevaluate the price with you. Things that could affect the valuation of your car could be unusual features, customisation, excessive mileage or service history. 

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO HAVE WITH ME FOR THE INSPECTION?

To establish that the person selling the car is the owner, we will need the following;

  • Photo ID with your name and address (eg driving license)
  • Registration Papers
  • All sets of car keys
  • Service log book.
  • Your bank account details

If your vehicle has any outstanding finance, we will need a letter with the settlement figure from your finance company. 

Please also remember to remove all your personal belongings from the car prior to your appointment. 

 

HOW DO I GET PAID WHEN I SELL MY CAR?

We will pay the agreed sale price within 24 hours via Bank Transfer, once we collect your car. As with all bank transfers, processing times apply. 

 

I HAVE OUTSTANDING FINANCE ON MY CAR. HOW WILL THIS AFFECT ME?

 We will arrange a settlement of any outstanding finance on your car. You will need to provide an up-to-date letter stating the current settlement figure from your finance company. 

 

WHY CAN'T YOU GIVE ME AN ONLINE EVALUATION?

While other sites may offer an online evaluation, it is worth noting that these are an automatically generated amount and are usually not a true reflection of your car's worth.

CAN I SELL A CAR ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE?

Yes. If you are selling on behalf of a relative or friend you will need to bring the following to your appointment:

  • A letter of authorisation from the owner containing the bank account that the funds are to be paid into. 
  • Photo ID with your name and address (eg. driving license)
  • A copy of the Photo ID of the registered owner of the car.
